Our Services
Three Services, One Commitment to Getting It Right
Our work covers the principal situations in which individuals need pension rights counsel: understanding their position, challenging an incorrect calculation, and navigating a contribution history that crosses international borders.

How We Approach Every Matter
Receive and review documents
Before forming any view, we read what you have — pension statements, correspondence from authorities, employment records — and note any gaps.
Prepare a written assessment
Our findings are set out in a structured note that separates what the records show, what the law provides, and what options appear available.
Confirm next steps in writing
If further work is appropriate, we describe exactly what it involves and confirm the scope before proceeding. Nothing is assumed.
Represent and follow through
Where we prepare submissions or appear in proceedings, each document is reviewed and approved by the client before it is submitted.
Quality Assurance
Every written opinion issued by Garuda Counsel is reviewed by a second practitioner before it leaves our office. We do not release preliminary notes as final advice.
All client documents are retained securely for the duration of the engagement and for seven years thereafter, in accordance with Thai professional obligations.
Fee estimates are provided in advance and confirmed in writing. Variations are discussed before they are incurred.
Service One
Pension Entitlement Review
฿2,800
A first appointment for individuals who would like a clear understanding of the pension benefits they may be entitled to. We review documentation provided by the client and assess contribution records, qualifying periods, and any cross-border considerations. A written summary of findings and written recommendations on available paths forward is prepared for the client to retain.
This service suits individuals approaching retirement age and those who suspect their existing pension calculation may not reflect their full record of contributions.
- Review of all contribution documentation provided
- Assessment of qualifying periods for entitlement
- Identification of any cross-border factors
- Written summary and written recommendations
Service Two
Pension Calculation Dispute Representation
฿5,600
Representation for clients whose pension calculation has been issued in a manner they consider incorrect. The work includes a detailed review of the calculation methodology used by the administering authority, gathering of supporting documents, preparation of formal correspondence, and representation through the administrative appeal process.
Where the matter requires it, we also prepare papers for the next stage of review. Each step is discussed with the client and confirmed in writing before we proceed.
- Review of the authority's calculation methodology
- Gathering supporting documents from client and third parties
- Preparation of formal correspondence and appeal submissions
- Representation through the administrative review process
Service Three
Cross-Border Pension Rights Counsel
฿7,800
Counsel for clients whose working life has spanned more than one jurisdiction and whose pension entitlements involve coordination between national systems. The work includes review of contribution histories across countries, advice on applicable bilateral arrangements, preparation of submissions to relevant authorities, and ongoing representation as the matter develops.
This service is appropriate for long-term expatriates, returnees, and individuals whose employment history includes multiple international postings.
- Review of contribution records across multiple countries
- Advice on applicable bilateral social security arrangements
- Consolidated record summary across national systems
- Ongoing representation with relevant authorities
